Consulting for publications and Web sites
We help publishers and editors invent and perfect their projects, in print and on the Web.
(The key is smart content.)

We can devise an editorial blueprint to launch or improve your magazine, newsletter, or newspaper.
For your Web site, we can develop a launch plan, critique your current offerings, and advise you through a re-design.
We can work with you to define an effective print-to-Web strategy.
We help ensure your success by recruiting and training your staff.

Clients include Discovery Communications, Southern Progress/Time Inc., ConsumerReports.org, AARP, AFAR Media, New England Journal of Medicine, and the George Lucas Educational Foundation.

CLIENT NEWS
AFAR magazine was named one of the most notable launches of 2009. After we developed the editorial blueprint, Susan West signed on as Editor-in-Chief, assembled and trained the editorial team, and produced the magazine's first four issues. West Gold also directed production of the company's Web site and blog. Susan is now back at West Gold.

We recently soft-launched Science for Citizens, a fun site that enables the general public to "do science." Help us test the beta site.
